Question Boosters

How to Use:

Question Boosters appear in the question window. If you have the booster you want in stock, simply click on the booster icon to use it. If you do NOT have any in stock, you can purchase the booster during a game (at the War Time Price) by clicking on the booster icon. The War Time price (2000 Gold) will appear under the booster icon in the question window if it is available for purchase.

The Hammer Booster and the Ask the Crew Booster are used with Multiple Choice question window, while the Telescope Booster and the Parrot Booster are used with Guess question window.

Hammer Booster:

Hamer Booster

The Hammer Booster can be used beginning at Level 2.

Clicking on the Hammer Booster will smash 2 wrong answers for you, reducing your choices to only 2 possible answers.

This will double your chances of choosing the correct answer in the multiple choice questions. Use this tool wisely; when you need it the most!

This booster is produced in the blacksmith by Baldric Bellows. There you can collect free boosters, or purchase them with gold.

Telescope Booster:

Hamer Booster

The Telescope Booster can be used beginning at Level 3.

The Telescope Booster will bring answers into better focus to help you make a decision. When you need help with a question, click on the yellow icon and the first answer that lights up is likely to be the right one. But, be careful! As with the "Ask the Crew" and "Parrot" Boosters, it is not always accurate! However, the more you play and win, the more reliable it becomes.

This booster can be purchased from Sylvester Sinus in the laboratory, or collected for free at regular intervals.

Ask the Crew Booster:

Hamer Booster

The Ask the Crew Booster can be used beginning at Level 6.

Have confidence in your crew and hope they will not steer you wrong! You can ask for help from the voice of the masses to assist you in finding the correct answer in multiple choice questions. But, occasionally they have a bit too much to drink and their answers may not always be reliable, or correct!Be careful!

Tim O'Taproom, the innkeeper in the pub, can assist you with a free Ask the Crew Booster from time to time. He will also happily trade gossip for gold.

Parrot Booster:

Hamer Booster

The Parrot Booster can be used beginning at Level 9.

The Parrot Booster will give you an answer, but BE CAREFUL! Although it is worth listening to the Parrot because it usually repeats what it has heard correctly, it sometimes just babbles on and on, and the answer may not be correct! Use the Parrot's skills when most needed and it should serve you well.

Parrots are trained by Flora Fauna in the village pet shop. She can always sell you a parrot when you need one, or you can wait for her to give one to you for free.

Tactical Boosters

How to Use:

Tactical Boosters appear in on the game map. If you have the booster you want in stock, simply click on the booster icon to use it. The Magic Wings Booster icon can be found on every territory that belongs to your Opponents. The Targeted Subject Booster icon can be found near your opponents castles. The Build Fortress Booster icon can be found next to your own castle.

If you do NOT have any in stock, you can purchase the booster during a game (at the War Time Price) by clicking on the booster icon. The War Time price (2000 Gold) will appear under the booster icon on the map if it is available for purchase.

The Hammer Booster and the Ask the Crew Booster are used with Multiple Choice question window, while the Telescope Booster and the Parrot Booster are used with Guess question window.

Magic Wings Booster:

Hamer Booster

The Magic Wings Tactical Booster can be used beginning at Level 4.

With this booster you can grow wings and fly in to challenge an opponent that is not currently bordering any of your territories. This booster allows you to attack early in the game when your opponent's Castle is unreachable... if you are not afraid of heights!

Since our resident wizard, Abraca da Brad, established his lair in Triviador, this booster has been available for purchase in the marketplace. Because he is a gentle wizard, he regularly gives free boosters as well.

Targeted Subject Booster:

Hamer Booster

The Targeted Subject Booster can be used beginning at Level 7.

A target will appear on your opponent's castle when you have an available Targeted Subject Booster. Roll over the icon with your mouse pointer, pick your favorite subject from the pop-up menu and then ATTACK! Be strategic and use your strengths during critical battles when you need them the most!

This strategy was developed by the legendary knight, Godwin III. Visit the military council chamber to collect your free booster, or to purchase one.

Build Fortress Booster:

Hamer Booster

The Build Fortress Booster can be used beginning at Level 8.

This booster requires your opponents to answer an extra question correctly in order to defeat a territory. If you see you have a very strong opponent, you can make your base castle, or a crucial territory stronger by using the Build Fortress. Simply, click on the Build Fortress Booster icon on the territory of your choice, but be wise and use it only when you need it most!

Brickston Stoner, the chief architect at Architorture Studios, is the man you want to see if you need a free booster, or would like to shell out some gold for one.
